Help for Vets

Being a Nam era Vet who was fortunate not to have been in combat I couldn't help but notice the number of charities out there to assist veterans physically wounded or scarred mentally from what they've been through. On one hand this is a good thing these men and women need assistance to get on with their lives the best they can. On the other hand it is disgusting that charities are needed to support these brave veterans who have paid a price beyond what should be asked of any human. The US Government should be taking care of this! When we give billions perhaps trillions to illegals in our country, when we double or triple that amount in foreign aid to countries that spit on our flag yet we make our Veterans beg for help something is very wrong in our government. When the federal elected public servants from the president down to senators and congressmen their appointees and staff receive the best medical care in the world on the taxpayers dollar and the veterans who have given so much to fulfill the Oath they took to defend the U.S. Constitution have to beg for medical care or be assisted by charities it is time things change. One change should be, any wounded veteran should not have to worry about paperwork or ever paying for treatment of their injuries physical or mental. Another is that Walter Reed be closed to elected public servants. For medical service they must go to the VA medical center in their home state in their electoral district. If they don't want this they can pay for private medical care out of their own pocket. It is time those that fulfilled their oath to defend the U.S. Constitution be treated as the heroes they are.

A Letter To American Voters

The belief in and the love of Freedom begins in the home.

This is an open letter to all Americans who support the U.S. Constitution and America.

Before you whine and cry and look for someone to blame that here in CT, Freedom and the U.S. Constitution took a hit in the last election, look in the mirror.

I'm sure you voted and you voted for Freedom but what about your children and your grandchildren? Did you raise them to understand the importance of voting, the importance of Freedom, the Freedom that millions of veterans gave all to preserve?

Did you raise them to have pride, dignity, a good work ethic? Did you teach them to stand for truth and honesty? Did you teach them stand for America the greatest country in the world? Did you raise them not to follow the crowd but rather follow what is Right? Did you advise them not to blindly believe what they are told in left leaning schools and the leftist media? Did you tell them to raise their children the way you raised them?

If you did this then I'm sure your children and grandchildren were there on election day helping come closer to bringing back America and Freedom. If you didn't, it is that time you did! I don't care how old your children are or how young your grandchildren are you still can and need to instill in them the love of America and Freedom you have. You need to instill in them the importance of them voting every election. To instill in them the courage to stand for America and Freedom is your sacred duty as an American and parent and a grandparent.

If you are being complacent and think they know all of this you are wrong, they are bombarded at every turn by the leftist media, leftist teachers and because of that leftist socialist peers. You can be sure those socialists and welfare parents and grandparents are indoctrinating their families in how to destroy America. It is up to you to teach your families to stand for America. If you do the next election will bring us closer to bringing back America. If you don't and America is not here for your retirement or your grandchildrens' childhood look in the mirror the only one you can blame for the fall of America is the one looking back at you, the one who couldn't be bothered, didn't have the time or didn't think it was important.

Welfare slaves

So the slaves once again voted in their democratic welfare masters. Rather then develop pride, dignity, and a work ethic these slaves prefer a welfare check and their democratic masters are happy to steal from those with pride dignity and a work ethic to provide it. What are they going to do when the workers decide it's better to be on welfare themselves? Who's going to pay for the welfare check then?

I wonder if the socialist bleeding heart do-gooders, ever think through the consequences of their actions and words? There is an article in August 11th's Republican American that reports that despite the high unemployment rate and the fact the the city is offering training and the pay rates start at $15 to $17 per hour construction jobs are going unfilled. Why? Common sense and logic tell me it is the fault of the socialist bleeding heart do-gooders because they have made welfare more attractive then working. Yes that's right. You see they believe everyone should have the same standard of living whether they work for it or not and have elected socialists to pass laws ensuring this. Why go out and raise a sweat and actually do something that produces something good, something that raises your self esteem, something that shows others you have pride and skill when you can sit home in a taxpayer paid for apartment eating taxpayer paid for food and still having money left for booze, cigarettes, drugs, tattoos, cars and sex? If you are on welfare not do to a real physical or mental disorder/disability and laziness is not a disorder or disability you should be living in a dorm eating cafeteria style meals and wearing hand me down clothes and you should have no taxpayer supplied spending money. This is what is called motivation. You want something better for you and your family you work for it. Instead of electing socialists (democrats) you elect people who bring jobs and training back to the U.S. People who want you to work to have pride and self esteem. Stop letting the socialists (democrats) tell you that you are useless, that you will never be worth anything that you can't support yourself or your family and that they the socialists (democrats) have to take care of you. That is just what the slave owners did to the slaves but because of PC we now call them democrats (socialist) slave owners who keep their elected position by buying votes with taxpayers money through welfare. Wake up take pride in yourself and tell the socialists you want a job, pride and self esteem not their form of slavery to welfare.

Elected officials are employees!

To the President, the Congress the governors and the state legislatures along with the EPA, DHS, DEEP, DOD, and all the other federal and state agencies that make laws, rules, regulations, guidelines and so on. Here is a piece of information you seemed to have forgotten, never understood or just feel you can totally ignore and that is, the U.S. Constitution is the law of the land. That said, you are not rulers, kings, despots, feudal lords, you are the employees of the American Citizen. Your job is not to tell us what you think we should do to protect your interests or those of multinational companies or even foreign countries. No your job is to do what we the American Citizens instruct you to do.

Your duties and limits are clearly set in the U.S. Constitution and it is time you abide by them. You at this time have taken the freest, greatest most innovative, technologically advanced country in the world and have all but destroyed it, by taking away rights guaranteed by the Constitution, by forcing out companies through taxes and useless regulations, by putting foreign government wants and desires above those of Americans by granting them Most Favored Nation status where they can import substandard goods and foods at prices below what the quality goods and foods cost when made and grown properly in America. You have all but destroyed the greatest education system the world has ever known by dumbing down requirements and attempting to institute socialist teaching under the Common Core. This needs to be reversed. There is an election in several months and if what I see on the internet not the government run media the majority of the voters are outraged at what elected employees have done to the greatest country in history and there will be a house cleaning by the voters. Americans will once again live in the greatest Free country in the world.

Open letter to Howard Stern

Dear Mr. Howard Stern,

I've seen your comment “if you are anti-Israel you are anti- American” and I have some comments and questions.

America was the leading force in the defeat of Hitler and the ending of the Holocaust .

America was instrumental in the establishment of Israel and up until this current regime a staunch ally and supporter of Israel.

America was able to do these things and many more in the way of helping other people and nations because of the Freedom Americans had guaranteed to us under the United States Constitution. The US Constitution is now under attack by Barrack Obama and the Socialists and Communists that call themselves Democrats and progressives.

You yourself sir owe your livelihood to the Freedom of Speech guaranteed under the US Constitution.

My main question sir, is why have I not seen you or any other American Jewish celebrity, politician, business man anyone who has a following and could stand up for America and the US Constitution against Obama and the progressive liberals doing so and standing up for America and Freedom? I have not seen anyone mentioned above standing up and saying gun control is wrong either. This in itself is perplexing in that I believe in Israel almost everyone is armed to prevent another Holocaust yet American Jews appear to have no problem with being disarmed by a government just as their ancestors were disarmed by Hitler.

Sir you ask that we Americans support the Jewish State of Israel. We have. Right now however for Americans to support Israel we need the American Jewish population to also stand up and defend the US Constitution and the rights and freedoms guaranteed within. For if the US Constitution falls America will fall and if America falls how far behind will be Israel.

So I would say to you sir “ If you are against the US Constitution and support gun control you are against America and Israel.”.

No more democrats

Stop calling them democrats or liberals call them what they are socialist/communists!
Someone said they can't be both they are two different ideologies.
Here is my reply;
You are correct they are different.  My opinion is that a percentage of liberals are socialist a percentage communist and a percentage are their own bastardized version of a combination of both, so I include both.  The fact in my mind is that liberals or whatever you would like to call them are the mortal enemies of America and Freedom anywhere in the world.

Old School Americans

I think we Old School Americans who believe in a Supreme Being, the U.S. Constitution the 2nd Amendment actually working for our pay, out number the socialist sheep, The issue it seems to me is getting more of us to the polls. I can't count the number of times I've heard "my vote won't matter". Well it does matter. When people start complaining about the government I ask did you vote? If the answer is NO I tell them to shut up. Don't bitch to me if you have a vote and are to lazy to use it. Maybe we not the socialists should find a way to bring those who can't get to the polls to the polls. Have a bus at a nursing home, a senior center. Why is only the socialists who do this? Time for all of us Old School Americans to stand together and bring back America and FREEDOM.

Where does our hamburg and chicken come from??

I was just thinking.  They have made in USA or Mexico or wherever on a lot of products but I've never seen it on meat in the butchers section of a grocery store.  Now I'm not one for more laws but knowing where my food comes from is very important to me and I think many other people.  Makes me wonder why there isn't a law!   What country is paying off what politician or politicians?  Maybe the media should investigate.  Wait there is no free press so how could they investigate something that could kill Americans?

Time for the truth

I think it's time we stop calling the Democratic party "Democrats" and call them what they truly are Socialist/Communists who are nothing more then slave owners who have enslaved generations of low income people to the welfare system by telling them they are not good enough to work a job.

Stand for Freedom

To those of us fighting for the U.S. Constitution, our Second Amendment right and all the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and defended by the Second Amendment against the socialist liberal traitors who are doing all they can to defeat us and destroy America. They tell us we will never win, they have the power, we are to weak. It is time to remember the words of a great American Patriot Patrick Henry.

“They tell us, Sir, that we are weak, unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be next week? Will it be next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed and a guard stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Sir, we are not weak if we make proper use of those means which the God of nature has placed in our power.”

These word were true when American stood up against Tyranny in 1776 and they are no less true now in 2014 when once again American Patriots stand against Tyranny for Freedom.

Resilient parasite

I just heard this question in a movie “what is the most resilient parasite?” Two immediately came to mind;

1) a democratic politician.

2) the welfare recipient that keeps voting them in for the welfare (enslaved to the democrats) check.

Say no to tolls!!!

Once again the insatiable bottomless pit of the government is looking to increase revenues without decreasing spending. They want to again put tolls on interstates and who is to say they will stop at those roads? Why should Americans have to pay the government to travel? I thought the gas taxes, motor vehicle fees, and the normal sales and income taxes were set up to pay for needed services? Maintaining roads is definitely a necessary service. Please don't tell me the owners and drivers of personal vehicles need to pay their fair share of maintaining the roads because we already do with the above mentioned taxes and fees.

Let us get mass transit to pay for itself. Stop the taxpayers subsidizes and have the users pay for it. It is not equitable to tax owners of private vehicles who don't use mass transit to support it and then to tax them again to drive on the same roads mass transit drives on which they have already paid taxes on to maintain.

The government needs to stop raising taxes, to stop with the freebies. A person who does not work is not entitled to or deserve they housing, clothing, food or lifestyle of those that work for what they have. A person using mass transit should have to pay what it costs to operate the system. What the socialist Malloy and his followers paid and are paying for a busway to nowhere would go a long way to maintaining our roads.

Land of the Free Home of the Brave?

Abraham Lincoln called America “ a government of the people by the people and for the people” when did it become a “government of the government, by the government, for the government with corporate approval?”

It is disgusting the way the government intrudes on every aspect our lives, from what we can eat, to how our children are taught to memorize in school what the government wants them to. No longer are they educated to think and reason.

Why should Americans have to pay or get permission to use public land which belongs to the People not the Government?

Since the government controls the education system it is not surprising that the youth of today are not being educated in the fact the the government is to work for the people, not the other way around. The government owns nothing, produces nothing, makes no money everything the government has it takes from the people.

America was once the Land of Free and the Home of Brave. We are no longer the Land of the Free. Our legislatures meet once a year to further enslave us under new laws that for the most part do nothing except take away more freedoms. Are we still the Home of the Brave? The next elections will tell. Will the silent majority be silent no more and vote in people who will put America back in the hands of the people and make it once again the Land of the Free or will America turn into a country of slaves to to the government?

 Why should Americans have to pay or get permission to use PUBLIC Land which belongs to the people NOT the Government?  This means state parks and beaches not just grazing land in NV where American Cliven Bundy is standing up for Freedom and Americans.

Assualt slingshots

I just learned of a draconian weapons registration I had no idea existed. I was at Tractor Supply and saw a slingshot for $5.99. I hadn't used one of those in over 40 years it would be fun to play with. We finished shopping and were checking out and I'm use to them asking for my zip code. So I wasn't sure I heard the cashier correctly I asked her to repeat herself she did. A state law requires a drivers license to buy buy one. I said you have to be kidding me she said no it was required. I told her forget put it back the government is way to intrusive and there is no way I'm registering a slingshot! OK when did the moronic control freak Nazi democrats sneak this law in. What an assault slingshot? Malloy and his control freak Nazis have out done themselves. They have to go and FREEDOM needs to restored in Connecticut and America! I just wanted to bring this to everyones attention.

Oh and if anyone has an unregistered slingshot they want to sell let me know I'm still looking for one.

Save a rescue dog!

I'm tired of reading FB on how a new rescue got loose. I wrote this for B.A.A.C. it applies to all rescues feel free to share it.
Congratulations you have adopted a rescue dog! You’re now in the parking lot waiting for the transport to drop off the new family member or you’re leaving the pound.
Here are some do’s and don’ts if you are a first time rescue parent and a good refresher if it’s been awhile.
You have fallen in love with a picture or dog you met for a few minutes you know nothing about this dog and this dog knows nothing about you. All this dog knows is every time he turns around he has been put in a vehicle and dumped in some new place he is skittish and scared and will bolt at the first opportunity. If you are at the transport they will put a slip lead on the dog. DO NOT REMOVE THIS until you are safely in your house. If it is to short attach another leash to the hand end of it. If you are at the pound put a choke collar on. When you get home from the transport put a choke collar on before you take the dog out of the house. Those cute non choke collars look nice but most dogs can slip their heads out of them before you can stop them and the chance of you getting the dog back after that is slim. Look at the lost posters all over Facebook that happened just this way. Until your dog is trained and knows you and the area a choke collar is a must.
Whatever name you have in your mind the dog doesn’t know it. They had one name in their first home and possibly many more in shelter and foster care so be patient give them time to learn their name with gentle pets and treats as you say it.
For the past few months and maybe longer every time this poor animal has been put in a vehicle it’s whole life has been changed. It takes them time to get use to you and the fact that this is their new furever home do not put them in a car or take them for a trip for a minimum of a month or longer if possible they are scared they are being taken somewhere to be dumped. I waited at least 2 months with each of mine and they were hesitant to get out of the car the first few trips. Sasha my husky took 8 trips before I didn’t have to help her out of the car. Remember they need to learn to feel secure with you and your family so go slow with them.
Get a good dog training book I recommend Kohler Dog Training it’s old school but it work I’m partial to shepherds and he trained WWII war dogs and Rin Tin Tin. Or just let your dog train you.
Remember love, gentleness and patience are your main tools. They don’t think or behave the way humans do and they are getting use to you as you get use to them.
There are more things such as introducing them to the other pets and food but the most important is keeping them from running away and making them feel loved.

The term “Talking Heads” should refer to elected public servants (politicians) as well as TV reporters, since neither does anything more than spout out what special interest groups have paid for them to say.

Your money where your mouth is

People talk about “come and take” “Molon Labe” well do you mean it?

Time to put our money where our mouths are. I read blurbs and Facebook posts and rants all the time about how we stand for Freedom, The 2nd Amendment and so on and so on. It's all good and gets heart racing and you feel like you're doing something. Well how about actually doing something that will hit the socialist liberals where it hurts them the most in their wallets! The NY governor says he hates guns and conservatives. That's real simple go to VT or another conservative 2a friendly state to ski, hunt, fish and vacation stay out of the Big Apple don't pay him to destroy America when the tourist money dries up they can ask him why. Stop going to movies why do you keep supporting the liberal actors, actresses and producers that support obama and all those like him! Same goes for musicians and TV stop watching NBC CNN and the rest of the socialist shows. Watch their advertising dollars dwindle. Same with local papers the Hartford Courant should be called Pravda and the New Haven Register is not far behind.

This is a simple but effective way to show you support America, The Constitution and Freedom. Do away with some creature comforts stop paying liberals to destroy America by supporting them. Instead of going to the the movies, or watching TV do something with family and friends. Go do some actual activity support a local business but first make sure they support us Taxpaying Americans and if they are a small business odds on they do.

Malloy's Major Mistake!

 In an attempt to buy the elections he has provided the funds for the Pro America, Pro Gun, Pro Constitution voters to support their choices. To put their money where their mouths are and donate this $55 dollars which is their money to start with to the CT Pro America and Freedom Candidate of their choice or to the CCDL or the Vote No for Dan Malloy org. Just keep the money in CT and defeat the socialists. Some come on are you people gonna put your money where your mouths are or are you all talk. November will tell!!!

Candidate Qualifications

I believe it is time we start taking a hard look at the qualifications of our elected public servants well prior to election day. One major detrimental qualification would be a job history of only elected governmental service. That would show me this person was never held accountable for anything. They never had to practice fiscal responsibility. Budgets meant nothing just increase taxes. Make a mistake don't worry the PR firm will explain to the public how it wasn't your mistake. Never worry about retirement you don't have to retire and if you lose an election you become a lobbyist for more money. If you make your way to the federal level you get the same pay including raises and health benefits for the rest of your life whether you serve one term or multiple. What reason do these people have to be fiscally responsible? What reason do they have to protect American Taxpayers? They are set for life and there is nothing we their employers can do about it right now. What we can do in the future is vote in people who have spent years in private sector as managers where they learned and practiced fiscal responsibility. People who understand budgets and follow them. People who think as we do that term limits are needed for every elected position. That you should not get a retirement package from an elected position. People who will put the wallets and bank accounts of the American Taxpayer over and above illegals, foreign aid, business bailouts. People who will keep their oath to follow and defend the U.S. Constitution.

Out of control government spending

A pension of $276,364.00 per year for a civil servant! Do we need more proof that government spending or mismanagement of taxpayers dollars is completely out of control? One problem I see that contributes to this is our elected/appointed public servants have no accountability. They enter into agreements and contracts behind closed doors with public unions, with state contractors. This needs to stop. All negotiations that spend taxpayers money must be opened to public and the media no exceptions. All binding arbitrations, any action that spends taxpayers money must be open to be viewed by the public. Our public/civil servants treat all tax dollars as “Government” money when it is not. The government has no money of it's own all it is has are tax dollars taken from working people and businesses. Our civil and public servants use euphemisms such as grant, rainy day fund to obscure the fact all monies spent by the government are taxpayers dollars. All elected public servants who continue to treat the taxpayer's paychecks as an unlimited ATM need to be held accountable and be voted out of office and replaced by people who will institute true fiscal responsibility not just mouth the words.
